In a recent leadership exercise I completed the DiSC analysis of my leadership styles. One term that describes me under pressure is ‘tactless’. There were many other words used to describe me, but this one made me giggle. Not only because it is spot on, but because the paradox of the word is that tactless is a tactless word in modern association.
I am Sara, a tactless Librarian. I own it and seek to teach myself how to react better to pressure. In many ways I will always be tactless, but join me as I learn to enhance my strengths and manipulate my weaknesses to be a better person and leader. This blog will be somewhat personal, but mostly professional or at least professionally-personal/ personally-professional.
